The Mission Australia Supported Housing program in Darwin provides tenancy support to clients who are facing homelessness, tenancy risks and other related issues.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Respond to referrals of clients to the service from internal and external support services
- Undertake initial registrations for clients, and organise introductions to the program
- Facilitate and develop relationships with organisations or services who work with TSP clients
- Create individualised case management files for all clients
- Complete a range of internal and external reports
Requirements for Success
- A Degree or Diploma in a related field – AOD, Mental Health or Social Sciences
- A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role
- The ability to work with clients who are facing challenging and multiple barriers to tenancy
- Competent with computer systems and record management.
- Current Northern Territory Drivers Licence
Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
